Workplace English · For nurses

Practise the words.
Before the shift.

You know what you want to say. Give yourself a quiet place to say it, try it again, and find the phrasing that feels clearer.

Wardwise is a free communication practice app for nurses working in English. Start with a handover, a question you need to clarify, or a conversation with a worried patient.

Read, then rehearse

Start with a conversation you recognise.

Clearer handover language when a detail is uncertain ↗A short fictional example, a wording comparison and a practice prompt. How to ask for clarification at work ↗Polite phrases for checking what someone means, without pretending to understand.

What the app includes

Built for practical rehearsal.

Choose a fictional ward situation, listen to a partner, record and replay your response, or type instead. Guided practice and bundled partner audio work offline. With your consent and an internet connection, cloud transcription can turn a recording into editable words, and an AI partner can reply in context. Daily free limits apply to cloud features; no access code or account is required.

Wardwise does not grade pronunciation or clinical competence. AI replies can be wrong. The exercises are awaiting independent clinical and language educator review. Use fictional details only; never enter real patient information.

Before you join

Who is Wardwise for?

Nurses who want a place to rehearse workplace conversations in English, particularly when moving into an English-speaking team. The initial focus is communication at work rather than exam preparation.

Can I practise without speaking aloud?

Yes. Guided practice supports typed responses and a targeted retry, so you can rehearse in a quiet or shared space.

What will it cost?

Wardwise is free during the beta. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases in this release. Optional cloud transcription and adaptive AI practice are available without a code or account, with daily free limits. Any future paid offer will be announced separately; the beta does not enrol you in a paid plan.

Will it grade my pronunciation or clinical ability?

No. The app does not provide pronunciation scores, clinical competence assessments or predicted exam results. AI conversation is practice, and its responses can contain errors.

Can I enter a real patient’s details?

No. Use only the fictional case facts supplied in the exercise. Do not enter names, dates, recordings or other information about real patients.

A little practice before the next conversation.
