Recording is unavailable
Open iOS Settings, find Wardwise and check microphone permission. You can continue by typing your response if you prefer not to record.
I cannot hear the partner
Check device volume and audio output. Build 5 and later include natural AI-generated partner clips that work offline. Earlier builds use device speech voices. Update through TestFlight, check volume and headphones, or continue with the visible prompt.
How do I transcribe my recording?
In build 5 and later, save your private beta voice access code in Wardwise Settings. Record up to 45 seconds, stop, then choose Transcribe my recording and read the OpenAI consent notice. Further recordings in that session transcribe automatically. Check the returned words before continuing. An internet connection and valid beta access code are required; do not enter an OpenAI API key in the app. If transcription fails, replay the recording and retry or type. Use fictional details only.
How does the adaptive AI partner work?
In build 9 and later, enter your existing private voice access code in Settings, open a case and choose Try adaptive AI partner. Read the separate dialogue-processing notice. Type or transcribe your response, check the words, then choose Send my words to partner. The partner replies to your actual words and you can play its generated voice. Each case follows three communication goals and ends with a closing reply and reflection. If a request fails, your answer stays on screen: retry or switch to guided practice. It requires internet and private beta access; it is not an always-listening call or a clinical assessment. Temporary AI audio is not kept after leaving; saved dialogue remains in your local notebook.
How do I save or remove my practice?
Your notebook is stored on this device. Wardwise Settings lets you export it through the share sheet or clear the notebook. Clearing includes saved phrases, history, draft and preferred name. Undo is available only while that Settings screen remains open.
Does Wardwise give clinical or exam scores?
No. It provides fictional English-language roleplays and simple wording reflections. It does not provide medical advice, validated pronunciation scores, clinical assessment or qualifications. Live AI voice is not included in the native iOS version 0.1.0.
